Express Metrix IT Asset Management Scholarship

As a provider of enterprise IT asset management solutions, Express Metrix is pleased to announce the establishment of a scholarship whose purpose to advance the education of qualified individuals seeking to begin or further their own careers in IT management.

Express Metrix will be awarding one (1) $2,500 scholarship to a student interested in pursuing a career in IT management. Applications will be evaluated based on an essay (500-1000 words) describing, in specific terms, how you hope to use your IT management education/background to make a positive impact in the business world.

Important Date(s):
January 15, 2015 — Submission is now closed for the 2015 scholarship. We are in the process of reviewing essays.
January 15, 2016 — Deadline for 2016 scholarship applications.

Who is eligible to apply?
Current high school and/or college students that are United States citizens and will be attending a college or university for the 2015-2016 academic year in a U.S-based school.

What kind of documentation is required?
If your essay is selected as a winner, you will be required to provide the following:

  1. Notarized Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release form
  2. Proof of enrollment in IT management or related coursework at an accredited college or university
  3. Official copy of your high school and/or college transcripts
  4. Copyright Assignment
  5. IRS Form W-9
  6. Copy of US driver's license
  7. High-resolution head shot photo (JPEG or TIFF file)

How will essays be judged?
Essays will be judged on various factors including (but not limited to): relevance, substance, creativity, and overall writing proficiency.

When is the submission deadline?
Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 pm Pacific Time on January 15, 2016. The winner of the scholarship will be notified by email on or around February 1, 2016.

If I win, how do I redeem the scholarship?
The $2,500 college scholarship will be paid directly to the college or university at which the recipient is currently enrolled.
